Heidenhain TNC simulator for TNC 640, TNC7 and iTNC 530.
Controller-accurate, off the machine.

Eureka3X interprets your actual Heidenhain post-processor output on a complete 3D machine model.
Collisions, TOOL CALL errors, and complex spatial transformations — caught before Cycle Start.

What is a Heidenhain CNC simulator? It is specialized software that interprets the actual NC program—post-processed Heidenhain Klartext—and executes it on a virtual machine model to catch collisions and errors before machining. With Eureka3X, your CNC machine simulator serves as a perfect digital twin for rigorous NC program verification.

Sound familiar?

These happen every week in every shop. Eureka3X fixes all three.

THE PROBLEM

Klartext and Q-parameters are black boxes

Heidenhain Klartext and Q-parameter logic are often black boxes for generic simulators, leaving your programs unverified.

THE FIX

Heidenhain-accurate simulation

Eureka3X emulates the exact behavior of the TNC controller, interpreting Klartext and Q-parameters flawlessly.

THE PROBLEM

TOOL CALL and TOOL DEF logic mistakes

Incorrect TOOL CALL or TOOL DEF parameters can cause tool length crashes that are difficult to predict without physical dry runs.

THE FIX

Verify tool changes perfectly

We simulate exactly how the TNC manages tool definitions, changes, and compensations, catching setup errors instantly.

THE PROBLEM

Complex spatial transformations

Datum shifts and cycles like CYCL DEF 7 or CYCL DEF 247 can cause unexpected axis movements and crashes.

THE FIX

Simulate the actual kinematics

Eureka3X interprets datum shifts and cycles exactly like your Heidenhain controller, so every axis movement is checked on screen before it runs on the machine.

Supported Heidenhain Controllers

Heidenhain TNC 320 / iTNC 530 / TNC 640 / TNC7

The same Heidenhain programs you send to the machine. Interpreted the same way. No rewriting, no approximations.

Where Heidenhain programs go wrong

A TNC program isn't generic G-code: it's Klartext or DIN/ISO, driven by Q-parameters and cycles, and often edited right at the control.

  • Q-parameters and part-family logic. Q-parameters carry values and drive conditional logic. A static graphic can't tell you where a Q-parameter sends the tool on a given run; only executing the logic can.
  • Cycles. Drilling, pocket and thread cycles carry depths, feeds and retract behavior that execute on the control. A wrong cycle parameter is a broken tap or a scrapped bore, and it isn't visible as a bad-looking path.
  • Datums and work offsets. A program proven at one datum and run against a different active offset cuts in the wrong place: correct geometry, wrong origin.
  • Tool data. A wrong tool number in the TOOL CALL, or a length or radius that resolves differently than assumed, drives the tool where the picture never showed.
  • Hand edits at the control. Heidenhain programs are often tuned at the TNC, so the program that runs is frequently not the one originally proven out.

The TNC's own test graphic is useful, but it runs on the control and takes the machine out of production. A CAM simulation runs on the CAM toolpath, not on the TNC executing your posted program. Eureka3X verifies the real program, the way the TNC will execute it, on a PC. Scope: 3-axis milling (X, Y, Z); for 5-axis see the FAQ.

Frequently Asked Questions

+Which Heidenhain controllers are supported?

Heidenhain TNC 320, iTNC 530, TNC 640 and TNC7, for 3-axis milling (X, Y, Z).

+Does it simulate Heidenhain Klartext?

Yes. Eureka3X interprets Heidenhain Klartext conversational programs and DIN/ISO, with Q-parameters, cycles, datums and TOOL CALL tool data, the way the TNC executes them.

+Can I simulate TNC programs on a PC without tying up the machine?

Yes. Eureka3X runs on a Windows PC and executes the program on a digital twin of your 3-axis machine, so the control keeps cutting while you verify. The TNC's own test graphic runs on the control and occupies the machine.

+Will it catch a Q-parameter or cycle-parameter error?

Yes. Because the twin executes the program logic, a Q-parameter that drives the tool somewhere unexpected, a wrong cycle retract or the wrong active datum shows up before it reaches the machine.

+My Heidenhain machine runs 5-axis work. Is that supported?

No. Eureka3X verifies 3-axis milling only. For 5-axis, mill-turn or multi-channel Heidenhain work, use Eureka G-Code, the industrial simulator in the same family (Eureka Virtual Machining).

+What happens after the trial?

After 30 days, your trial will expire. If you want to continue using the software, you can upgrade to one of our plans. There is no automatic charge since we don't ask for your credit card upfront.
